Duplex & Triplex Bonding

Duplexing is the process of bonding two sheets of board together to create a thicker board e.g. you can duplex two sheets of 350gsm boards together to create a 700gsm board. Triplexing involves sticking three sheets of board together and quadplexing is four sheets.

This technique is perfect to use for the creation of high quality exclusive invitations & business cards. It is an innovative way to use more than one coloured board to create a sandwich effect. Foiling, die stamping & die cutting processes can also be used for special print effects e.g. you could cut an aperture on the front partof the card allowing the colour of the second sheet to show through.
